The World Café is fast food done right.  It’s equivalent to a Quizno’s or Subways but is locally owned.  You’re also supporting environmental sustainability when you choose to eat at the World Café.  Its menu is full of healthy wraps and subs featuring traditional food combinations from a variety of locations around the world, including Thailand, Brazil, and Ireland.  It also offers an excellent variety of salads, and sides include hummus and pita, crunchy veggies, or chips.  Although located in Vandalia, it’s well worth the trip to check it out!
