Tuty’s Bar and Grill is located on Colonel Glenn Hwy. and offers dining and entertainment experiences similar to what one would expect from a college-crowd catering establishment. Traditional bar games such as billiards and darts and tasty pub grub can be found within.

Sidebar is located in the Oregon District (Dayton’s downtown area). It is one of the more upscale establishments and provides a great lounge atmosphere. Customers can enjoy a full bar and great tapas (you must the calamari).

Blind Bob’s is a lively, family-owned bar that is a venue for many musical and academic events. The food is above average bar food with a tasty fried snack side menu. Every month, Blind Bob’s hosts an academic showcase event: Pub Science. Event-goers can enjoy learning about an eclectic variety of topics while enjoying the bar atmosphere. Previous lectures have included topics such as: ethnopharmacology, short pulse lasers, and cryopreservation.

The World Café is fast food done right. It’s equivalent to a Quizno’s or Subways but is locally owned. You’re also supporting environmental sustainability when you choose to eat at the World Café. Its menu is full of healthy wraps and subs featuring traditional food combinations from a variety of locations around the world, including Thailand, Brazil, and Ireland. It also offers an excellent variety of salads, and sides include hummus and pita, crunchy veggies, or chips. Although located in Vandalia, it’s well worth the trip to check it out!
