Application Due Dates
The application deadline for the first round of applications is October 16th, 2013 by 4:30pm.
The deadline for the second round of applications is February 19th, 2014 by 4:30pm.
Who is eligible?
Graduate students at WSU, including professional students enrolled in the Boonshoft School of Medicine or the School of Professional Psychology, who are registered for at least one credit hour, are eligible to apply for one or both grants. However, meeting the application requirements does not ensure receipt of grant funds. The grant application review process is competitive and not all applicants will receive funds.
GSA Grant Types
The GSA offers two types of grants: the Original Work Grant and the Professional Development Grant. The Original Work Grant is intended to support research conducted by WSU graduate students. The Professional Development Grant is intended to help students enhance their graduate-level education through participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops as well as other activities related to furthering the students’ careers.
