Happy Finals Week to All of You!
I hope the summer will be a time of relaxation and catch-up for all fellow GSA members.
However, the summer will not be a permanent vacation for GSA, as there are many things that your GSA Board will be working on in order to ensure that GSA continues to grow in strength and quality.
Since we have a new President and Treasurer, GSA Board members will be participating in a Transition Meeting to solidify the transition between officers so the new officers may continue the great work of our previous officers.
The GSA Board will also be reviewing the GSA Constitution and By-Laws to bring the documents up to speed with the semester transition and to ensure the documents reflect the current environment and goals of GSA. Upon review, any changes will be put to vote at the first General Membership meeting in early September.
The GSA Board will also be discussing the current funding situation and analyze what events and grants will be able to offer in the 2012-2013 academic year. Stay tuned to your “OrgSync” account for event information and updates!
And if you are feeling left out, don’t be! On June 20th from 11am – 1pm in the lobby of Millett, GSA and the Graduate School are hosting a luncheon for all of the administrative assistants on campus. Come grab some food and get a chance to meet fellow GSA members and those who make everything happen on campus – WSU Administrative Assistants!
